Even bastards have heroes…
Note: Any similarity between APC’s My Perspiration Inspiration and a certain record store’s My Inspiration campaign is completely coincidental.
Yeah RIGHT!

Yep a SHOCKER indeed! It might be about as dancefloor friendly as a catatonic foxtrot & filed under”songs to make robots cry, but I’m delighted to announce that
“Elton’s Glasses” , made it to no.4 on the Toronto Star’s Anti-Hit List.
Says the editor, Mr John Sakamoto:
“Making the former’s tragically overplayed “Your Song” sound new again is no small accomplishment, but self-styled “bedroom producer and part-time genius” Phil RetroSpector has done just that by pairing it with the stately “Raising the Sail” from Philip Glass’s score to Jim Carrey’s The Truman Show. The result transforms the sentiment in Elton’s signature ballad from youthful certainty to something closer to the cautiousness born of experience.”
Suddenly, the bedroom of this wannabe recluse doesn’t seem so bad after all…
Thanks John… (p.s. thanks to Reg & Philip too)
